A mud managed to create a first-person mode for the Wii U-emulator Cemu. With Cemu, PC gamers have the option of playing Wii U games. It is now possible to play Zelda in first person on a PC.
The mud has succeeded in getting Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to work on the PC in the first person with 60 fps on the Cemu emulator. Judging from images of the mode, switching between third person and first person is seamless. The camera will zoom out automatically when fighting or climbing in first person. The mod has three field of views views: a standard mode that is suitable for most PCs, a narrower and a wider fov.
It is not the only mod that changes the world of Breath of the Wild. For example, a mod appeared earlier to replace the Cell Shaded graphics with realistic images. There are also plenty of mods to replace the playable character in for example Goku, Mario or Naruto and mods that adjust certain game aspects, such as the number of weapons that Link can take with him.
Cemu is a Wii U emulator that makes it possible to play games released on the Nintendo console on the PC.
